We believe that each employee contributes directly to the organization's growth and success, and we hope you will take pride in being a member of our team.
We are a service business engaged in the recreation industry.  As a result of our combined efforts, our members and guests can enjoy a relaxing change of pace from the stress of everyday business.  The result of our work provides a most important contribution to the well-being of our society.
Our objective is to produce the top golf operation in the area.  We try to accomplish every job within our department with quality control rather than production.  It's not speed; it’s doing a good job (doing a good job is more important than doing it quickly) that counts.  Both our membership and our staff are very proud of our golf club.  All of our management decisions and all of our work are based upon this simple daily motto that is our mission statement:
                                                             "Our members’ deserve the best"
All employees of Lemon Bay Golf Club are at-will employees.  Absent an agreement between you and Lemon Bay Golf Club, this means that either you or Lemon Bay may end the employment relationship at any time, for any or no reason.

No manager, supervisor, or employee of Lemon Bay has an authority to enter into an agreement for employment for any specified period of time or to make an agreement for employment other than at-will.  Only the president of Lemon Bay Golf Club has the authority to make any such agreements and then only in writing.
The employer believes that the working conditions, wages, and benefits it offers to its employees are competitive with those offered by other employers in this area and in this industry.  If employees have concerns about work conditions or compensation, they are strongly encouraged to voice these concerns openly and directly to their supervisors.
Our experience has shown that when employees deal openly and directly with supervisors, the work environment can be excellent, communications can be calm and attitudes can be positive.  We believe that the organization amply demonstrates its commitment to employees by responding effectively to employee concerns.
This organization is an equal employment opportunity employer and will not discriminate against any employee or applicant in a manner that violates the law.
The employer has established an affirmative action program to initiate and promote equal employment opportunities throughout the organization.

To ensure that individuals who join the organization are well qualified and have a strong potential to be productive and successful, it is the policy of the employer to check the employment references of all applicants.
The Human Resource Administrator will respond to all reference check inquiries from other employers.  Responses to such inquires will confirm only dates of employment and position(s) held.  No employment data will be released without a written authorization signed by the individual who is the subject of the inquiry.
